Morgan’s sauce is a rustic ‘battuto’, namely minced vegetables including celery, white and purple onion, cooked gently in oil to obtain a versatile and balanced sauce to serve with food. It gives an extra touch to boiled meats, grilled pork, cooked cured meats. Excellent with canapés, sandwiches, appetizers, fish salads and cooked legumes.
